How to Source a Private-Label Mattress

Compare the construction, sample and packing scope before comparing the price.

A useful mattress inquiry gives suppliers enough information to quote the same product. Use this guide to organise your brief and identify the decisions still open before sampling.

1. Define the market and size range

State destination, sales channel, target position and estimated quantity by size. Use exact length, width and height alongside local size names.

2. Request a complete construction sheet

Ask for the support system, layer materials and thicknesses, fabric, quilting and edge construction. If you do not have a preferred structure, ask for options with the differences clearly stated.

3. Compare the sample with the quote

Check that the quoted materials match the sample. Review appearance, dimensions, feel and workmanship. Record approved changes so the production reference remains clear.

4. Confirm packaging and required evidence

Request carton dimensions and weight for the chosen packing method. For roll-packed models, agree storage and recovery checks. List the destination-specific test documents you require and verify their scope.

5. Agree commercial and approval milestones

Confirm minimums, sample costs, lead times, quantity mix, payment and shipping scope in the quotation. Set the point at which sample approval permits bulk production.

Buyer FAQ

Before you request a quote.

Can I request options without a technical drawing?

Yes. Start with your market, size range, target channel, quantity and reference images. Ask for construction options before approving a sample.

Should I compare only unit prices?

Compare the product specification and quotation scope first, including packing and shipment terms. Different constructions or omitted costs make unit prices difficult to compare.

What is the next step?

Create a brief using the inquiry builder, copy it and send it through the Senzero Alibaba contact page. The builder itself does not submit an inquiry.
