HUMAN BEDDING KNOW-HOW · MATTRESS DEVELOPMENT & SUPPLY

Frequently asked questions

A clearer start
to your mattress project.

Find the details to prepare before a quotation, the decisions to make before sampling and the terms to confirm before ordering.

01 · Product direction

Products & construction

Which mattress programs can I discuss with Senzero Sleep?

Our current directions are private-label retail mattresses, hotel mattress projects and compression-ready development for suitable constructions. These are project directions rather than a single fixed specification. The size range, support core, comfort layers, finish and packing are agreed for the selected mattress.

Can mattress dimensions be customized?

Dimensions and finished height can be discussed as part of development. Provide the exact length, width and height in centimetres or inches, along with the quantity for each size. For hotel projects, include the bed-base dimensions. Feasibility and applicable order conditions are confirmed in the quotation.

Do all mattresses use the same spring system?

No. Pocket spring, Bonnell spring and other support constructions are reviewed separately. The selected core, surrounding layers and edge construction should be stated in the specification and checked against the approved sample. A product image alone does not identify every internal component.

How should I describe the feel I want?

A reference mattress or sample is more useful than a word such as soft, medium or firm by itself. Describe the intended customer, support preference and surface feel, then review the proposed construction through sampling. Record the agreed reference so later changes can be compared with it.

02 · Planning your order

Customization & orders

Which details can carry my brand?

Discuss fabric and quilting appearance, border finish, woven labels, care labels, logo placement and carton artwork. Share the artwork and intended placement early. Materials, branding options and their minimum quantities are confirmed for the selected product and order.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no single minimum stated for every project. It depends on the mattress construction, materials, branding and size mix. Send the expected quantity by size and any custom material requirements so the quotation can identify the applicable minimums.

How long do development and production take?

Timing is confirmed after the specification, sample scope, material availability and order quantity have been reviewed. Ask for separate sample and production milestones, including when the production period starts. Changes made during sampling may affect the schedule.

03 · Before bulk production

Samples & approval

How do I request a mattress sample?

Use the contact form and select “Request a sample”. Include the product direction, destination, preferred dimensions, construction or reference image details, and what you want to evaluate. Sample availability, scope and delivery arrangements are confirmed after reviewing your request.

Are samples free?

Sample charges, shipping costs and any related terms are confirmed for the specific request. Do not assume that a sample or its delivery is free. Submitting a sample request does not create an order or authorize a payment.

What should I approve before production?

Review the mattress construction, finished dimensions, appearance, feel, labels and packing scope together. Record the agreed sample, specification and inspection points in writing. If a material, layer or construction detail changes, confirm whether another sample or packing review is needed.

04 · Preparing for shipment

Packing & documents

Can every mattress be compressed or roll packed?

No. Suitability depends on the complete construction, including the support core, comfort layers, adhesives and edge. Agree the packing method, storage conditions, recovery checks and acceptable results for the selected model. A brief packing demonstration does not establish performance throughout a longer shipping and storage period.

Is edge reinforcement included in export mattresses?

Added steel or firm-foam edge reinforcement is optional. Our export mattress programs generally omit it; the agreed construction sheet should state whether it is included. This is separate from tape edging, which closes the cover around the mattress.

How do I compare carton sizes and shipping space?

Use measured carton dimensions, gross weight and units per carton for the approved model and packing method. Compare the same quantity and size mix. A mattress photo or a general compression percentage is not a substitute for confirmed packing data.

Can you provide the documents required for my market?

List the destination and the exact product or material documents you require when preparing the brief. Available documents and additional testing needs are reviewed for that model and the relevant legal entity. A document for one material or product should not be assumed to cover every mattress.
